Successfully assisted as Singapore counsel in Scanfil Plc’s acquisition of SRXGlobal for approximately US$26 million. The acquisition includes SRX’s factories in Australia and Malaysia, with 8 automated surface mount technology (SMT) circuit board lines and about 300 employees. Scanfil, which is listed on NASDAQ Helsinki (HEL:SCANFL), is a global contract manufacturing giant with an annual turnover of approximately US$1 billion, while SRX is a regional electronics manufacturing group, which specialises in, amongst others, SMT for circuit boards.
